A Milestone For Bible Q-n-A

Over 50,000 video views in less than 12 months on YouTube!

I just got home from out of town and checked the Bible Q-n-A stats on YouTube. The current play count is 50,416 in only ten months. This is a fantastic milestone as the majority of these viewers are not members of the church. Keep in mind too that this number does not include the same person watching the same video several times. These are unique plays by different people. Also, a good number of these viewers have watched the videos because members of the church have referred them to the site. I am so thrilled that Bible Q-n-A is a useful tool for your individual evangelistic efforts.

I am also very thankful for all the brethren that have been such a great help to me in answering the comments that have been posted to the videos. I get dozens of emails every day and there is no way I could keep up with them alone. I greatly appreciate those who are helping me in this area. Not surprisingly, the Bible Q-n-A videos on YouTube have become a rallying point for those who want to debate biblical doctrine. The most played and discussed video remains "An Honest Baptist" (3,629 unique plays at this posting). Be sure to check it out if you haven't seen it yet.

The program continues to grow in its outreach. The next goal is to raise the needed support to do pay-per-click advertising on Google and Yahoo. Then, for example, anytime a person did a search on a word like "Bible" or "Baptist" I could have a specific Bible Q-n-A video placed at the top of the search results. If you would like to help in this endeavor please contact me.

And to the current supporters, I couldn't have done it without you! Thank you.

New Portal Website

I have posted a new web site that will serve as a portal to all the other websites. Please bookmark www.NormFields.com and check it frequently for updates to all of my sites.

Full Questionnaire Added To Doctrinal Statement

I have just added a full questionnaire to the Doctrinal Statement entry. I'll include it here also.

Local Evangelism With Bible Q-n-A

I received a very large amount of international correspondence from the Bible Q-n-A videos online. The congregation in Danville also sends out BCCs all over the country from contacts generated by the Bible Q-n-A program. If there is any question about whether Bible Q-n-A generates interest among the viewers just take a minute to brows the comments on both www.BibleQnA.org and www.youtube.com/preachernorm. Since September '07, less than ten months ago, the Bible Q-n-A videos have generated nearly 45,000 unique views on YouTube and are being viewed by large numbers every day on the BibleQnA.org web site from all over the world.

I have said all of this to encourage you to consider Bible Q-n-A as a resource for your local evangelism. I am now offering branded 30-minute episodes for $50 per episode. "Branded" means that each episode will have the contact information for the local congregation ordering the videos inserted right into each episode. When I answer questions on the program submitted by your local viewers, those clips will be inserted into your episodes for your local viewers. You will also receive a digital version of the "Bible Q-n-A Monthly" magazine, also branded with the local contact information, for printing and distribution to the local community.

I can also produce commercials for local events like Gospel Meetings and BCC offerings to be inserted right into your branded episodes of Bible Q-n-A. All you have to do is send me the necessary media and information and I will produce your commercial and insert it into the appropriate episodes.

Ordering congregations will receive a broadcast ready DVD with each month's episodes. You can deliver the DVD to the airing studio, local cable access is the most economical option, to run in your purchased air time for that month.

If you would like more information about how you can use Bible Q-n-A for your local evangelism please don't hesitate to contact me. I'll be happy to help with finding the best broadcast options for your area.

Thanks,
Norm

Update On The Work

I just wanted to post a quick update to the work.
  • We are currently helping with a tent meeting in Madison, NC that began on June 23 and will continue thru July 4. We are going out door-knocking every day from 9 to 12 and then back for the meeting at 7 PM. There have been a good number of visitors every night resulting in home Bible studies with some.
  • In October I will be in Commerce, GA for a gospel meeting from 10/5 to 10/8 - please see www.BibleQnA.org for more information about this meeting.
  • In December I will be in Nepal teaching Apologetics at the Himalaya Bible Institute. The exact dates have not been determined yet but I will be there for about three weeks.
  • Of course I am still doing the weekly live TV broadcast and live netcast of Bible Q-n-A. I have also added a monthly magazine to the Bible Q-n-A line-up. Be sure to check out www.BibleQnA.org for more.
  • The evangelism training program at the Martinsville church is taking a break during the tent meeting. When we start back I will continue my classes on Hermeneutics and Homiletics. I teach there every Wednesday from 8 AM to 4 PM between the two classes.
Please let me know if you have any questions about any of the work or if you are interested in helping out with the upcoming trip to Nepal.

Thanks,
Norm

Upcoming Rapture Debate

After sending my reply to the Rapture Propagandous, Charles Sabo, I received back the following message:

Hello,

You propose to say bringing me on your show will convince you of what you have done wrong, when in reality, you only want to take control and twist what I say to make you look right. I for one, have a family and work a job to support my family and can't just pick up and leave for a few days just to show up on a 2nd rate TV show. You never did include where you were located which means you didn't really think that I would take you up on this.
I am not a bible scholar nor teacher. I only know that you are wrong. You asked everyone to show you where it says anything in the bible about the rapture or the tribulation. I sent you many texts in the scriptures that specifically told of the Rapture! Mathew 24 is one of many areas in the Bible that tells of the Great Tribulation. You do need to realize that the scriptures are there in front of you and we as fellow Christians must do what we can to convince non-Christians to believe in Jesus Christ as our savior and son of GOD! You are discrediting publicly what we have all believe. If you are a true Christian, you should not be trying to discredit whatever anyone believes in order to appease what you believe. There are doubters in Christianity out there, and for them to get to the kingdom of heaven, they need to be saved(believe in the Lord Jesus as their savior).  You need to stop putting doubts in their minds. You are losing their souls!  God does not like that you are doing this.  The Great tribulation and end times are going to happen and those souls that you have lost will be taken by Satan during that time. God gave us many warnings about this and you are denying it to even being true!
The second coming is clearly stated in the scriptures an example as follows:

The prophet Zechariah even tells us where He will return: "And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, making a very large valley; half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south" (Zechariah 14:4).
I want to make a suggestion. Since you are so unusual in your beliefs. You may want to get with a person like Scott Dryer(http://www.profoundprophecy.com) and meet with him and discuss why you 2 see Christianity so differently. Scott does a wonderful job of explaining the texts and what they mean. Can you afford to be wrong about what you are saying about these scriptures. You are not only putting many peoples souls at risk, but yours as well.

I responded to this person and let them know that they could come on the BlogTalkRadio (http://www.BlogTalkRadio.com/BibleQnA)  broadcast from where he was and not have to travel. I have not heard back from him concerning that invitation but I have been in contact with Scot Dryer, who he recommended as someone who could prove the rapture doctrine and show everyone why what I teach about the rapture is wrong.

I had a very good discussion with Mr. Dryer by phone and he has agreed to come to Danville to debate the issue of the rapture with me both at our building and on TV. We are in the early planning for this meeting but we have both agreed that a four day public discussion would be agreeable to us both. As most of you know, I have two hours of air-time available on Thursdays and possibly on Sunday. The only extra air-time I would need to buy would be for Friday and Saturday.

To my brethren, please pray that this discussion will come about and that it will be effective for reaching those who have been deceived by such doctrines as the rapture and premillennialism. If any of you would like to talk to me about helping with the air-time and advertising expenses please call me @ 434.489.3700 or email norm@preachernorm.net.

An Open Invitation To Debate The Rapture

I received this email from an unnamed rapture propagandous. The only identification in the message was the email address, jesus_is_lord@raptureortribulation.com. I replied to the message with an invitation to come on the Bible Q-n-A program and debate the topic of the rapture. I am posting this on the Bible Q-n-A web site as an open invitation to anyone, of proper credentials, to debate the issue of the rapture on the Bible Q-n-A TV program.

Here is the YouTube post that prompted the email:
